Date: September 15, 2020

The Shenandoah Valley Railroad (SVRR) is pleased to announce that the InterChange Group has joined the operation’s ownership group as a minority partner.  The SVRR is a 22 miles long, privately-owned short line railroad providing service to customers between Staunton, Virginia and the Pleasant Valley area just south of Harrisonburg, Virginia.  Due to its connections, the railroad allows its customers to access both the Norfolk Southern and CSX Class 1 railroads.

“We are excited to become a part of the Shenandoah Valley Railroad family both as owners and as a user with our new rail spur and rail-served cold storage facility in Mt. Crawford,” said Devon Anders, president of InterChange Group, Inc. “We look forward to partnering with the SVRR team to promote the benefits of rail and further develop this regional asset.”
