WHSV – “InDemand” will showcase what jobs, apprenticeships, and opportunities are right in your backyard.
“We want to encourage people in the valley to look at what is in demand in our Valley,” said Debby Hopkins with the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board. “What pays good? What gives career opportunities? Not just a job, but a lifestyle and a career that can help them achieve what they want to achieve for their life and their family.”
E very other Tuesday, this rebooted series will highlight an apprenticeship, job or career that matches your interests and that are in high demand. This can help expose you to different occupations with help from the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board.
“We’re there for the individuals who are seeking job seeking skills, who are looking at career opportunities, who want to see if they can be placed again, after perhaps losing a job,” says Hopkins. “We’re also there for the companies, to help post those jobs and connect them together, so we can match good employers with good workers.
From production to pilots, manufacturing to maintenance, healthcare, and everything in between, WHSV will bring you opportunities that are more than just a job, but a career and lifestyle change.
