More than 115 investors and partners attended the SVP Annual Meeting on July 25, 2025 at the Atlantic Union Bank Center on the campus of James Madison University. The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to reflect on the year and celebrate regional successes and accomplishments as well as unveil upcoming plans. SVP executive director Jay Langston provided a year-in-review and an update on Forward2028, the partnership’s capital campaign that launched in 2023. Now two years in, a Measures to Goal report was provided showcasing the progress made over the past 24 months. Three main priority areas were identified at the campaign commencement: Talent Attraction & Retention, Business Attraction, Retention & Expansion and Sites & Buildings.
