SVP Celebrates Accomplishments of FY23-24

More than 100 investors and partners attended the SVP Annual Meeting on July 26, 2024 at Bridgewater College. The Annual Meeting is an opportunity to come together to celebrate regional successes and accomplishments as well as unveil plans for the coming year. SVP executive director Jay Langston gave an update on Forward2028, the partnership’s capital campaign that launched in 2023. Now a year in, a Measures to Goal report was provided showcasing the progress made over the past 12 months. Three main priority areas were identified at the campaign commencement: Talent Attraction & Retention, Business Attraction, Retention & Expansion and Sites & Buildings. Greg Godsey, longtime SVP board and executive committee member was recognized for his years of service. Greg has been involved with SVP since it’s inception in the late 1990s, making numerous contributions over the years, including chairing the Forward2028 campaign committee and serving as secretary/treasurer. SVP Executive Committee Chair Charles Hendricks thanked Greg for his unwavering support and dedication.
